N.C. 28781 Luckado - West Swim Club Annual Meeting Dessert Fellowship At The Vineyard There will be a dessert fel lowship meeting at The Vine yard restaurant in Tryon Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. Anyone having a loved one in the Gulf, or anyone simply desiring to join with others to pray for the Gulf crisis, is invited. Coffee, dessert, music and fellowship arc all on the menu. Also Julie Pettigrew, daughter of Jean Pettigrew, will share her testimony and describe her calling to the mission field through the Caleb project. The 1991 Annual Meeting of the Tryon Swim Club will be held on Thursday, Mar. 14 at Brannon's Restaurant. Tire meeting will be preceded by a mcmbcrs-only social starting at noon, featuring Jo Milner's punch and Brannon's buffet lunch. Tire cost of the lunch is $6, payable at the door. Reserva tions must be made by Monday, Mar. 11. Call Sally Hollwcg at 859-6139. The Board of Directors hope that all members can attend both the lunch and the meeting. Ecumenical Prayer Vigil Continues Tire response to the Ecumeni cal Prayer Vigil in Green Creek has been tremendous according to Pastor Chuck Rinehart. He said. "We are encouraged and will continue our prayer vigil for the Middle East conflict." The weekly Candlelight Prayer vigil is held on Thurs days at 8 p.m. at the Mill Creek Church of The Brethren. Everyone is invited. Valentine's Day At The TCC A Valentine's Day cake and coffee social for members and their guests will be held at the Club House on Sunday, Feb. 17 from 3-5 p.m. Tire Committee would like all to sign up early so they can have everything in readiness.
